Splash colors with Colorsplash – New Entertaining app of iPhone

ColorSplash is an entertaining application developed by Hendrik Kueck. This $1.99 application allows you to add a artistic look to the photos quickly and easily, just by doing some image-manipulation. You can convert the photo to black and white, while keeping your chosen details in colors you want to highlight. This effect is called a “cutout” or “selective desaturation” as it allures the viewers’ attention to the colored areas.

You can quickly zoom in and zoom out using your finger on the touch screen. You can remove or bring back the original color from regions of your image just by using your finger as a brush.

ColorSplash allows you to use a good range of brushes, from hard to soft edge, by selecting the brush icon at the top of the screen. The brushes can be semi-transparent, so the amount of color can be varied. With Colorsplash you can do unlimited undo. You can save your work at any stage and go back to intermediate versions of your image if you want to. You can work in portrait or landscape mode, and there is detailed, built in help. There’s an alternative view mode that is used to tint colored areas with red to make them easier to see and to adjust the boundaries between color and black and white regions.

    Feature list:

  • Undo any number of accidental brush strokes.
  • Save multiple sessions.
  • In-program help.
  • Alternative view mode shows colored regions tinted red to make it easier to see and adjust the boundaries between color and black & white regions.
  • Choose from 4 different brushes (hard or soft edged, opaque or transparent)
  • Work in landscape or portrait orientation.
  • Hide the toolbars in full screen mode.

Overall ColorSplash is great app to have in your photo editing arsenal on the iPhone.
