Yahoo Inquisitor Now Accessible Through iPhone

Last year for all the major browsers yahoo proposed a search plug-in named as Yahoo Inquisitor. And now it is also available on iPhone as an application. With this application user can search quickly and easily with minimum typing. It shows incredible functioning of certain features like Yahoo’s Search Assist.

A list of suggested keywords automatically appears when a user starts typing a search string on their iPhone. As the user goes on typing, the suggestions become more refined. The application provides a list of suggestions and will allow user to select any before completing the word in the search box.

Results are presented in large, easy-to-read gray boxes, with favicons and two lines worth of text. Abbreviated news results from two sources appear at the very top if they are available, and can be clicked through to see only news results. Once you click through to a Webpage or article, it is framed by the app.

The Inquisitor application can also be viewed on the iPhone’s regular safari browser. It also provides options for emailing links. A toolbar at the top allows you to return to your search, making for more fluid navigation. You can always escape the app to view the app in the iPhone’s regular Safari browser as well. There is also an option for emailing links.

To make your search easier, grab the Yahoo Inquisitor application for free.

  1. The great iPhone application is super fast, easy to use, and a shoulder above some of its competitors
